A Nauticalite sign starts with CNC-milled, UV stable marine-grade acrylic sheets, minimum thickness 15 mm. Surface choices include 316L grade stainless steel in various finishes such as mirror polished, brushed or anodized finishes, colored acrylic, or carbon fiber faceplates, fused over the backing with specialty adhesives for saltwater exposure.
Standard letter heights begin from 90mm, with large-scale builds reaching up to 2m tall single-piece letters. When needed, profiles are built up to 50mm solid faceplates, backed by opal or tinted light diffusers for better light spread.

Letter faces are trimmed and buffed by hand. Edge smoothness and uniform thickness are maintained throughout the build.
Mounting and Setup Details
Each letter typically carries 3-4 threaded stainless studs at the rear. Placement and stud size are adjusted depending on weight and surface size. Minimum clearance behind mounting face - 20mm - for nut sets and washers.
Do you need minimal or zero internal access? Nauticalite offers external mounting solutions. Letters can be installed and removed without needing hull access panels. Installation kits ship with templates, drill guides, stud fasteners, and wiring instructions.

Lighting options aren’t just about brightness. Nauticalite offers four primary shades of white: warm white, daylight white, cool white, and halide white.
RGB lighting is also available, with smooth color shifting and static lock options. If needed, systems can be controlled by onboard dimmers or remote control systems.

Each letter ships with a flying wire tail, trimmed to the correct length for your boat. Inline connectors are optional. They are useful for large projects where pre-finished wiring and final sign installation happen in two stages.
